<span>Due to the great level of wind energy penetration in existing network, huge efforts have been directed enhance grid-connected generator performance. This paper shows an application a hybrid algorithm particle swarm optimization and gravitational search (PSO-GSA) transient stability grid-tied conversion system. The variable-speed turbine (VSWT) direct-drive permanent-magnet synchronous is connected network through full-scale converter. generator- grid-side converters are controlled by utilizing optimum proportional-integral (PI) controller. criterion integral squared error utilized as objective function. PSO-GSA based-PI controller efficacy validated comparing its results with that obtained genetic (GA)-based-PI performance suggested control scheme checked during various fault conditions. quality legalized simulation using MATLAB/Simulink program</span>
